GREAT HOMER STREET, LIVERPOOL

A major facelift for north Liverpool is on the way, with the £150M re-development of the Great Homer Street area. In response to a clear need from the local community, Liverpool City Council appointed St. Modwen Developments Ltd as their partner in the regeneration.

The regerneration will provide new public buildings and open spaces, new homes, new retail and commercial buildings. In February 2010 Sainsbury's commited to take the anchor food store, it will be the largest superstore in Merseyside.

St Modwen have a great deal of experience in developing town centre and brownfield sites, making them an ideal choice for the development of this 45 acre site. Consultations with local businesses and residents as 'The Project Jennifer Community Forum' produced a masterplan which eventually became the planning application.

Hitchcock Wright & Partners are delighted to be appointed Retail Agents for the scheme, together with GVA Grimley.
